Stussy Delivers Vibrant Hand-Dyed Colors For Their Pre-Spring 2023 Collection

Stussy

There are not very many streetwear brands that can compare to the longevity of Stussy. The Los Angeles-based label has influenced street fashion for over four decades, evolving and adapting gracefully over time while maintaining its originality.

This latest Pre-Spring '23 collection is no different. Stussy kicks off the mid-season collection by linking up with Lookout and Wonderland's Niki Tsukamoto for a set of hand-dyed work jackets and matching Big Ol' Jeans. Each pair is unique with a distinct pattern made with natural dye ingredients including chestnut bark, cochineal from Peru, medicinal grade turmeric, and organic hibiscus flowers.

This isn't the first time Stussy collaborated with the Los Angeles-based art studio. Their most notable collaboration was in 2021 on a limited run of hand-dyed Air Force 1s in five different colors representing Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris, London, and New York. Needless to say, the custom-dyed shoes were instantly snagged up when they hit the Stussy website.

Further adding to the capsule, is an eclectic range of apparel including collegiate-inspired crewnecks, fishtail parkas, and Casentino wool shirts. The multi-color sherpa fleece and the mohair knit sweater and sweater vest are absolute standouts. The signature line-up of graphic tees, hoodies, and button-ups round out the assortment. The Pre-Spring '23 collection is available now on the Stussy website and chapter stores. Make sure to check out the campaign images below.
