Gunna’s "bread & butter"
Seeing as we aren't fit to guess when Young Thug will see the light of day, the least we could do is put his label mate in the spotlight in his long-awaited return. Is it a return to form, though? It's a start, but time will tell.
Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar’s "The Hillbillies"
If there’s any song you probably stumbled upon this week, it was this, and, considering it came out on Monday, you must be living under a damn rock if you haven’t seen this across one of your social feeds. And, until the two decide to put it on streaming services, we're limited to watching the video on repeat - not complaining, though.
Nelly Furtado’s "Eat Your Man"
Say what you want about the song itself, but the return of Nelly Furtado deserves all the attention in the world and more. Working along side producer Dom Dolla, it's very clear the Canadian songstress is embracing this decade.
Headache & Vegyn’s The Head Hurts but the Heart Knows the Truth
Some clichés spewed throughout this spoken-word racket may be a bit too on the nose, but when backed by such listenable production, they’re truly worth a listen.
Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again” (feat. Cardi B)
As if the solo cut wasn’t hard enough, Cardi B graced Latto with a top-tier verse and a music video appearance, to boot.
Check back next week for more great releases.
