Watchlist: Baby Queen "Want Me"

South African artist, Baby Queen, released her much anticipated single, "Want Me," on November 5. Through her music, she relates to the youth of today, writing about societal pressures, mental health, and other hardships members of Gen-Z experience.

Her sound is edgy and eccentric. She describes it as "introspective intelligent anti-pop," and unlike most music out right now. In "Want Me," Baby Queen tells a unique story about her favorite actor, Jodie Comer, from her favorite television show, "Killing Eve." She talks about insecurities and unrequited love and is sure to have you on your feet and dancing along.
