Dance/electronic duo, Boy Harsher is back at it with their dark wave 80s sound in their new song Machina.
The group was formed by Augustus Muller and Jae Matthews in Savannah, Georgia back in 2013 under a different name, Teen Dreamz. After their sound transformed into more danceable tracks, they became Boy Harsher. Their music comprises 80s style synths, drum loops, and a great number of samplers. Their influences derive from musical talents: Linea Aspera, Chelsea Wolfe, and Zola Jesus. Famous auteur, David Lynch, who created the cult hit show, Twin Peaks, back in the 90s, is also a big inspiration for the pair.
Boy Harsher is a must in your party playlists have if you want to be transported back to that 80s underground club vibe.
