Rikki Valentina is a singer-songwriter hailing from Los Angeles, California.
Valentina grew up in a creative family, her father a drummer and her mother an actress. Her original sound and ethereal sense of style falls somewhere between Melanie Martinez and Lana Del Rey. On June 18, she released her five-song EP, Daddy's Girl.
Daddy's Girl is a graceful commentary on everyday emotions, feelings, and events that are not often discussed. The EP is chock-full of angelic melodies and delicate instrumentation, from the distinct ukulele track of "April Fool" to the nostalgic childhood recordings of "Year '95" and "Daddy's Girl." The elegant lilt of Valentina's vocals, as well as effectively arranged backing vocals give the release extensive dimension.
