Travis Scott Unveils Astroworld 2021 Lineup Featuring 21 Savage, Lil Baby, SZA, and More

Travis Scott has revealed the Astroworld 2021 lineup, with performances from 21 Savage, Lil Baby, SZA, Bad Bunny, Chief Keef, Young Thug, Tame Impala, Don Toliver, and more.

"Welcome to the utopia," Travis wrote alongside his announcement on Instagram. "We morphed the grounds into a new universe this year. Can’t wait for y’all to see it. And I’m bringing some Avengers wit me." He also shared that while the show is sold out, he "finessed a bit more" for his fans.

Calling Astroworld Festival a utopia seems like a reference to Travis' forthcoming fourth studio album, also named Utopia, which is anticipated to arrive before the end of the year. Back in September, he slightly clarified what it means to live in a "utopian state."

"Medicine, nursing, being a better person, talking, language, communication — you know, a utopian state. That’s what my album is about," he told CR Men. During the conversation, he drew a line in the sand between the current state of the world and what a true utopia looks like.

"[Utopia is] just about proper lines of communication," he said. "Because that’s the dystopian shit we’re in right now. It’s all hate, hate, hate, and all of that is drawn from what? Miscommunication, non-communication, non-understandable communication, ignorance to communication."

Astroworld Festival saw its inaugural year in 2018 — with performances from Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Gunna, and more — and its second installation took place in 2019. Unfortunately, the event was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tickets for the next installment of Astroworld Festival are available here. Prices start at $349.99, but be warned that the last iteration sold out within the hour.
