Dua Lipa paid tribute to Pop Smoke in the new music video for their song "Demeanor."
The high-production video opens with Lipa touching up her makeup before joining her guests at a Victorian dinner party, powdered wigs and all. In frilly Victorian garb, the guests dance in the dining room as Lipa sings about serving that "je ne sais quoi energy," styled by Lorenzo Posocco in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier corset from the designer’s 1998 collection.
In the background of the party, a moving painting depicts different versions of Smoke and white doves, and at the end of the video, the camera concentrates on the painting as the music fades in a concluding tribute to the rapper.
While announcing the release of the video on Instagram, Lipa thanked Pop Smoke’s team and family for having her appear on the single. Watch the music video below and let us know what you think.
