It is with no doubt that PARTYNEXTDOOR is of today's powerful names in R&B. But, after multiple hit projects and albums, is his new album "PARTYMOBILE" what we were expecting?
THE SOUND
The sound is PARTYNEXTDOOR's typical sound. PARTYNEXTDOOR is an artist that has a sound that is individual to him, but, because of this, his albums tend to have many tracks that sound very similar to each other. Some may like this, but some may feel as if his lack of versatility makes his music boring. A lot of the songs on "PARTYMOBILE" do sound pretty much the same to each other and to his previous projects. But, on a positive note, his sound is very quality, solid, and consistent. You can depend on his music if you always want to hear his same sound. You definitely have to be in a certain mood to feel his music, but if you are in that mood then "PARTYMOBILE's" sound will do justice to your ears. He also switched his sound up a little on tracks like "TOUCH ME" and "BELIEVE IT". Because of this, on our Intersect rating scale of 1-10, the sound would receive an 7/10.
THE SINGING
PARTYNEXTDOOR's voice is beautiful. It stimulates the mind both emotionally and sexually. You can find his voice on most modern day sex playlists out there. I do not think that it is fair to say that his voice did not sound on point. In "SAVAGE ANTHEM" for example, it is amazing how he switches from singing to rapping smoothly. This is a signature PARTY move and it really showed on this album. Because of this, on our Intersect 1-10 rating scale, the singing receives a 9/10.
THE ART BEHIND THE ALBUM
Unfortunately, this is the aspect of "PARTYMOBILE" that brings it down on our rating scale. There does not seem to be a flow throughout the album and there is uncertainty of the message. I think it would really benefit PARTY to put out an album that flows in some sort of order that tells a story. I think he has the sound and voice for it. Because of this, on our Intersect 1-10 rating scale, the art behind the album receives a 6/10.

On our Intersect 1-10 rating scale, "PARTYMOBILE" receives a 7.3/10. I would recommend adding this album to sex playlist because it definitely gives off those vibes.
