So, whether you know him as Aubrey Graham, Jimmy Brooks, or most commonly, Drake, you're probably dying to see this man on the big screen. Now, former President Barack Obama might be the reason for Graham's re-entry.
As talks of a potential biopic about Obama blossom, the paramount question of who will play Obama has come to a foreground in the Obama household. Because of the artist's amiability and popularity, and maybe because the Obamas play "Laugh Now Cry Later" on repeat, Drake has been discussed as a possibility for the role of Obama. Now, these discussions have come to a big halt. A decision has been made.
About a week ago, Obama gave the final seal of approval: In the event of an Obama biopic, Drake will play Obama.
Drake has been preparing for this role for a decade. In a past interview he shared, "Anytime I see [Obama] on TV, I don’t change the channel." While this may seem revering, Drake admits that he's watched the news so closely solely because he's been studying Obama's intonation to perfect his impressions.
