Zara Larsson released her latest single, “Crush,” a bittersweet, dance-ready track pulled from her upcoming album Midnight Sun, out September 26 via Sommer House/Epic Records.
Co-written with Helena Gao and produced by Margo XS, MNEK, and Zhone, the song captures the tension of fleeting attraction, evolving from soft tones and a shuffling beat into a determined declaration of loyalty. “Crush” follows the album’s title track, which has gone viral over the summer thanks to its Charlotte Rutherford–directed Y2K-inspired video and a wave of celebrity cosigns from the likes of Renée Rapp, Kylie Jenner, and Ariana Grande.
The Swedish pop star kicked off this era with the bold “Pretty Ugly,” recently nominated for an MTV VMA for Best Choreography, setting the tone for Midnight Sun’s mix of unfiltered storytelling, vulnerability, and confidence. Currently touring North American arenas with Tate McRae, Zara will headline a European tour this fall before joining OneRepublic in Australia and New Zealand in early 2026, with the official “Crush” music video arriving soon.
