Charleston native OsamaSon has just dropped his latest single, "ik what you did last summer," alongside a music video that complements the track’s glitchy synths and moody atmosphere. Borrowing its title from the 1997 cult classic film, the song captures OsamaSon reflecting on the actions of an ex from last summer, while also aiming to get listeners moving. "I want you guys to feel alive, that's the feeling I'm trying to share," he explains. The video, which features a meditative, atmospheric visual, enhances the track’s high-energy vibe.

The release of "ik what you did last summer" follows a string of successful performances for OsamaSon, including sets at London's Wireless Festival and NYC's Restless Fest. The South Carolina rapper also recently gained traction with his track "popstar" and his collaboration with Nettspend on "withdrawals," which has amassed over 7 million streams.
OsamaSon's growing momentum this year includes his Flex Musix Tour, which saw him sell out eleven shows across the U.S., and the deluxe version of his album Flex Musix, titled FLXTRA, which debuted at number 8 on Apple Music’s All Genre charts.
Known for his infectious hooks and otherworldly flows, OsamaSon continues to carve out his place in the hip-hop scene, and "ik what you did last summer" further solidifies his upward trajectory. With more music expected soon, his rise shows no signs of slowing down.
