What's New in Fashion: From Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY to CELINE

Our favorite new moments in fashion, hand-picked by our editors.

Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY Fall/Winter 23 Drop 2

Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY always finds a way to capture eccentric aesthetics at their finest and most “out there” moments. Known for playing around with gender fluidity and constructing clothing as if they were artwork, the label’s latest Fall/Winter campaign titled “The Engine Room” remains committed to those attributes with extremely graphic coats and skirts depicting comic-esque artwork inspired by British comic artist John Byrne, while the rest of the collection reminds us of the classic LOVERBOY loud plaid patterns and knits. Genderless pleated and wrap skirts signify label classics alongside argyle, striped, and newspaper-print knits in bright shades like cherry red and sky blue. Details always come down to buckles with LOVERBOY designs, and this collection finds buckles everywhere, from tops to bottoms. Footwear could not be more imaginative with claw-inspired loafers and heels. Check out the collection on the Charles Jeffery LOVERBOY website.

Roger Federer x JW Anderson Uniqlo

Notorious tennis star and eight-time Wimbledon winner Roger Federer has come together with Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and Japanese casual clothing label Uniqlo to release a collection with genderless stylish sophistication. Considering Federer’s athletic background and Anderson’s design expertise, the Uniqlo collection features nine pieces of the casual variety that exude a polished and sporty aesthetic. The color scheme sticks to pine green, navy, royal blue, black, white, and grey, as shown by a variety of zip-up jackets, shorts, joggers, polos, knits, and even parkas. The collection will be released through Uniqlo on August 28. Check out the collection on Uniqlo’s website.

CELINE Winter 2023 Collection

If you have ever wanted to feel like a world-renowned rockstar when dressing up, CELINE’s Winter 2023 collection is for you. Designed by Hedi Slimane, the seasonal collection, “LA COLLECTION DU PALACE,” features plenty of finely-crafted leather garments and shoes and sequins for anyone to help their inner rockstar shine. From leather fur-trimmed aviator jackets to cropped sequin-embellished wool cardigans, the French fashion label has the aspired aesthetic down to a tee. Other pieces, such as an embroidered satin-finish nylon jacket, a western-inspired chocolate lambskin leather jacket, or black soft lambskin skinny jeans, shine a spotlight on the label’s craftsmanship and quality. Classic suit jackets and waistcoats stay true to CELINE’s design codes, along with a small collection of leather ankle boots. Accessories range from oversized framed sunglasses, leather handbags, and chain and charm necklaces. Check out the collection on CELINE’s website.

YOSSI HOMME "Post-American Youthism" Collection

In his debut collection, Israeli-Moroccan designer Yossi Shetrit has left a stunning impression on men's fashion with a capsule collection titled “Post-American Youthism,” which exhibits the contrast between past and present youth culture through vintage and playful designs. Inspired by New York City in the 1990s, rebellious tones are shown through graphic and distressed t-shirts, oversized pants, leather outerwear, and flannel shorts and pants. Chained accessories top off the 90s aesthetics throughout the collection, and gothic elements leave hints in double-zipped hoodies and suit jackets. Check out the collection on the YOSSI HOMME website.
