The sound on this track proves Burna Boy’s ability to have immense versatility. The most prominent aspect of this beat is his use of a Brandy sample from her 1998 track, “Top of the World”. He takes his distinct Nigerian sound and mixes it with an American R&B beat, creating the perfect recipe for a stellar listening experience. His vocals are uniquely his and they add an abundant level of soul to the track. The bass line comes in heavy and funky, which fits perfectly with the sample.
