Arlo Parks, the acclaimed British singer-songwriter, has treated fans to a mesmerizing new music video for her album track "Purple Phase." Shot during her tour in Japan earlier this year, the video transports viewers into the neon-lit nightscapes of Tokyo, where Arlo embarks on a solitary journey through the bustling city.
The track "Purple Phase" is on Arlo's latest album, My Soft Machine, which she dropped earlier this year. The album stands as a testament to Parks' artistic evolution, putting a spotlight on her unique storytelling abilities and introspective lyricism. My Soft Machine was meticulously recorded in both London and Los Angeles, featuring a stellar lineup of producers, including Paul Epworth, Ariel Rechtshaid, Romil Hemnani (of Brockhampton), Buddy Ross (known for collaborations with Frank Ocean), Carter Lang (known for work with SZA), and self-production by Arlo herself.
