Kanye West donated $2 million to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor. Along with his donation, he protested their murders today, in his hometown, Chicago, Illinois.
Kanye donated money to George Floyd's daughter's college fund, and money to assist the families of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.
According to Billboard.com, West set up a 529 education plan for Floyd’s six-year-old daughter, Gianna.
West was spotted today on the Southside of Chicago protesting with Chicago Public School students against the murders of Floyd, Arbery, and Taylor, and fighting injustice.
George Floyd was murdered by a police officer who held him down with his knee on Floyd's neck for nine minutes. Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor were both shot dead. All three of these Black people were unarmed.
