Lil Nas X released his highly anticipated single "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)" today, along with an accompanying music video.
The track features production from Take a Daytrip, Fedi and Roy Lenzo and is titled after the artist’s legal name, Montero Lamar Hill, and the novel by André Aciman/film adaptation that starred Armie Hammer and Timotheé Chalamet.
Lil Nas X touches on intimate relationships, sexuality and fame, dropping lines like "Never want the n***as that’s in my league / I want to f*ck the ones I envy" and "Call me by your name / You told me you loved me in private / Call me by your name / I do not care if you lyin’."
