It-girl favorite, Miaou, and adidas Originals team up for a collaboration that nails the sweet spot between motorsport nostalgia and downtown glamour.
The two brands came together for the first time, introducing a capsule that fuses motorsport edge with Miaou’s signature flirtatious femininity. Shot in a sun-bleached California desert and fronted by Gabbriette, Devon Lee Carlson, and founder Alexia Elkaim, the campaign feels like a hot, dusty joyride with the coolest girls you know.
Founded in 2016, Miaou has long been a defining force in contemporary womenswear, reworking vintage silhouettes into modern cult pieces and building a global community of muses, collaborators, and downtown regulars. This collection continues that legacy, balancing nostalgia and irreverence with a distinctly West Coast energy.
The drop spotlights two standout footwear moments: the Miaou Boot, a sculptural high-cut take on adidas’ Taekwondo shoe finished in mesh with leather stripes and a bold metallic “M” zipper pull, and the Mei Elite Miaou, a satin silver sneaker marked by contrasting yellow accents and embroidered branding. Apparel checks all the right boxes too, translating race-day aesthetics into wearable, nightlife-ready pieces. A black asymmetric jacket and padded-sleeve dress offer sleek structure, while a corset-style track top with matching pants and base layer feels made for after-hours movement. A punchy yellow bag with navy detailing rounds out the collection.
Equal parts pit-lane swagger and going-out glamour, adidas Originals x Miaou captures the thrill of motion and the vibe of girls who dress like the main character wherever they are — even at the gas station.
