Press Play: 2BYG Share Debut EP "The Yearbook"

Nowadays, everyone is constantly talking about how we could use fresh voices on the R&B scene. Well, the rising Texas R&B quartet 2BYG is here to deliver. These young men are boldly stepping into their moment with The Yearbook, their long-awaited debut EP out now via Waystar Records/Def Jam Recordings.

Blending classic soul influences with a fresh Gen Z edge, the six-track project captures the feeling of young love, ambition, and nostalgia in motion. From the confident swag of “Oh Yeah” to the heartfelt honesty of “Someone Like You” and the harmony-driven closer “Wassup,” the group showcases a sound that’s as smooth as it is self-assured.

Comprised of Matt Brown, Tourè, Nixx, and KD, 2BYG have quickly built a following through viral covers and undeniable chemistry, earning praise from industry heavyweights for their effortless vocal interplay and modern take on R&B.

With The Yearbook, they pay homage to the genre’s golden era while carving out a space of their own. Looks like the next chapter of R&B is already being written in Texas.
