Press Play: Destroy Lonely Unleashes New Project "</3³"

Updated: Oct 9

Destroy Lonely just dropped his highly anticipated project </3³ (Broken Hearts 3) — the third installment of his cult-favorite Broken Hearts series that began in 2020.

Teased with cryptic billboards across New York City last week, the 18-track project finds Lonely returning to his roots with producers Clayco, Cxdy, Cade, and Bugz Ronin while leveling up his sound. Standouts include the high-octane single “Jumanji” (closing in on 1 million views), “open it up” with Ken Carson, and the focus track “screwed up.”

The release lands just as Lonely gears up to hit arenas across the U.S. with Playboi Carti on the Antagonist Tour, marking the first time the Opium collective is touring together. Kicking off October 3 in Salt Lake City and running through December with stops in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, and his hometown Atlanta, the tour will feature Ken Carson, Homixide Gang, and support from Apollo Red on all dates.

Fresh off a run of magazine covers and following the success of LOVE LASTS FOREVER and his chart-topping debut If Looks Could Kill, Lonely’s new project cements his status as one of hip-hop’s most exciting and boundary-pushing artists. Blending Atlanta-rooted rap with a punk-inflected aesthetic, he’s carving out a post-apocalyptic universe of his own — and inviting fans along for the ride.
