Press Play: Mariah The Scientist Drops New Album "Hearts Sold Separately"

Mariah The Scientist has officially unleashed her highly anticipated new album Hearts Sold Separately, marking a defining moment in her explosive 2025.

The 10-track project, executive produced by Nineteen85, features her Billboard Hot 100 hits “Burning Blue” and the Kali Uchis-assisted “Is It a Crime?,” as well as the new single “Sacrifice.” The album, praised by Rolling Stone as “her best work yet,” showcases Mariah’s literary lyricism and expansive production, cementing her as one of R&B’s brightest stars.

The release arrives amid a landmark year for the Atlanta native, with “Burning Blue” topping Apple Music’s charts, earning RIAA Gold certification, and dominating Billboard’s Rhythmic and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts. Beyond the music, Mariah’s star continues to rise: she’s performed at Lollapalooza, delivered the keynote at ENVSN Festival, joined the Recording Academy’s 2025 New Membership Class, and will hit the stage at Global Citizen Festival in New York on September 27 alongside The Weeknd, Shakira, and Tyla. With Hearts Sold Separately, Mariah The Scientist affirms her place at the forefront of contemporary R&B, delivering a vulnerable, polished, and resonant body of work that sets the tone for her next chapter.
