British rapper slowthai is pairing with Goldenvoice to launch a one-day festival at Northampton Cricket Ground in England on September 25. Tickets for the event will officially go on sale on May 14.
In addition to a headlining show from slowthai himself, artists performing include beabadoobee, Shygirl, IDLES, Ethan P Flynn, Greentea Peng, and Pa Salieu. In a statement to the press, slowthai rhymed: "Happyland with happy folk. The place where we can laugh and joke. The place you can be yourself without judgment, expectations and impressions of someone else. The space from the shackles of the everyday. The mountain where we climb to run away. Imagine what you’ve never had when you come to Happyland—you will never be sad."
