Taylor Swift Has Re-Recorded Her 'Fearless' Album, Including "Love Story"

Taylor Swift’s first No. 1 album and breakthrough full-length will be the first to be released in its re-recorded version. Swift announced February 11 that she had re-recorded her 2008 blockbuster album Fearless, which will now be known as Fearless (Taylor's Version). The album's updated lead single, "Love Story (Taylor's Version)," will be released Thursday night.

"This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could've imagined and has made me even more determined to re-record all of my music," Swift wrote in a note to fans. "I hope you'll like this first outing as much as I liked traveling back in time to recreate it."

While Swift did not officially announce the release date of the re-recorded version of Fearless, strange capitalizations in her note spell out "April 9th," and fans are thinking that's the official release date for the record. The “new” album will include "6 never-before-released songs from the vault," bringing the total track listing to 26.
