SOUND
This track has a unique beat, produced by Mike WILL Made-It, with muted bass notes and catchy percussion. It has a repeating synth line that cuts out for the first half of the chorus and comes back in for the second half, adding character to the track. The two have complimenting vocals, with Swae Lee singing the chorus and Slim Jxmmi adding a solid rap verse. Their sound earns them an 8/10 on the Intersect Rating Scale.
LYRICS
This track speaks of an interaction with an attractive woman who happens to be a good dancer. They find themselves mesmerized by this woman saying, “My new addiction, I need that”. Slim Jxmmi toys with wordplay here, referencing a ludicrous track when he raps, “Real one, you been that (Yeah), They ludicrous, tell 'em "Get back ". Although this track is not very lyrically dense, the lyrics hold a great melodic flow. Rae Sremmurd earns a 6/10 for their lyrics on the Intersect Rating Scale.
