Press Play: Joy Crookes Releases Sophomore Album "Juniper"

Joy Crookes is in her powerhouse era. Fresh off being named War Child’s newest ambassador and selling out a string of UK in-store shows, the South London singer-songwriter has unveiled her stunning sophomore album Juniper. Leading with the focus track “Forever,” Joy dropped a spellbinding live performance video filmed inside Do Ho Suh’s Walk The House exhibition at the Tate Modern—a bold preview of her Tate Late takeover on September 26.

Juniper stretches far beyond the soulful blueprint of her BRIT- and Mercury Prize-nominated debut Skin. The new album dives into love, loss, identity, body politics, and mental health with raw honesty and lush production, capturing Joy at her most fearless and expansive yet. This fall, she’ll bring Juniper to life on a full UK and EU headline tour, including a major stop at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
