Chicago artist Tasha unveils her striking new album, All This and So Much More, today via Bayonet Records, marking a significant evolution in her musical journey.
This ambitious album features a cinematic soundscape, blending droning orchestral elements with jangling guitars to encapsulate a pivotal moment in Tasha’s life. Written during 2022 and 2023, as she prepared for her role in the Tony-winning Broadway musical Illinoise, the songs navigate themes of friendship, heartache, and self-discovery, inviting listeners to witness her blossoming realization that the person she aspired to be was already within her.
While her 2021 release, Tell Me What You Miss The Most, offered an introspective look at love, All This and So Much More sees Tasha turning outward, embracing life with a newfound courage. The album encourages us to explore abundance in its truest form, from the painful sting of heartbreak to the exhilarating thrill of new adventures.
Remarkable singles like “The Beginning,” “Michigan,” “So Much More,” and “Love’s Changing” have showcased her dynamic range and lyrical depth.
To celebrate the album's release, Tasha will perform live shows in New York on September 21st at Baby’s All Right and in her hometown of Chicago on September 27th at Lincoln Hall. Tickets for these events are available now at wowtashawow.com/tour.
With All This and So Much More, Tasha invites us all to embrace life’s possibilities and discover the beauty within ourselves. Listen to the album below.
