Evisen Skateboards SS24
Japanese label Evisen Skateboards has just released its Spring/Summer 2024 collection. As its first collection of the year, the brand has put an emphasis on outerwear and pieces perfect for layering. While certain pieces are more technical, such as utility jackets made from nylon and denim, other pieces are laid back, such as the collection of jacquard knit crewnecks and twill easy pants. There is no shortage of color across reimagined olive or brown-colored denim and bright blue pieces mixed into graphics and fabrics. For patterns that catch the eye, a Pine Tree Camo print is incorporated into matching oversized sets, and other naturalistic patterns take over oversized baggy pants. Only NY SS24
With spring around the corner, Only NY has come forth with a new collection based on just that. The Spring/Summer 2024 collection from the label has pulled inspiration from New York City’s blend of nature and cosmopolitan aesthetics, perfect for any New Yorker trying to get through the day. Springtime showers have the brand ready with waterproof nylon jackets made from recycled plastic and equipped with every function imaginable for inclement weather. Plaid snap shirts and jackets are available in striking colorways, while usual knitwear includes a pale indigo sweater alongside a large selection of hoodies and crewnecks. Basic block logo t-shirts populate the new collection featuring the brand’s “OnlyNY” lettering or a pink sunglasses-wearing rodent illustration. Billionaire Boys Club x MrStarCity
In honor of Black History Month, Billionaire Boys Club has teamed up with Brooklyn-based artist MrStarCity to bring an exclusive collection. David White, locally known as MrStarCity, is renowned for his interpretive painting style around portraits and his knack for poetry and music. Bringing his artistic presence to BBC, the “Astro Loverboy” collection features touches of the artist’s work across basics known to the brand, such as t-shirts, hoodies, and trucker hats. Graphic t-shirts take on new meaning with depictions of MrStarCity’s astronaut-inspired artwork and lettering across the back stating “moonlit roses and heartache.” The hoodies and hats take on the same graphic. Authmade x NBA All-Star Weekend
Just in time for the NBA All-Star Weekend, Authmade has released a collaborative capsule in partnership with the NBA that has melded together the sport of basketball and the world of motorsports. Through a blend of racing-inspired uniforms and motifs, the NBA All-Star Collection features a colorful twill racing jacket with combined Indy 24 and NBA All-Star signatures and additional patches. Pullover oversized hoodies are next up, featuring embroidered patches and large graphics with more Indy 24 and NBA All-Star branding coming together.
