Marine Serre’s Fall/Winter 2025 campaign, titled “Heads or Tails,” unfolds as a cinematic journey in three acts, blending fashion with narrative and performance. Set against the backdrop of a classic Parisian apartment at dawn, the campaign evokes the visual poetry of Nouvelle Vague cinema, where soft morning light illuminates a world of shifting identities and quiet power. At the center is a ghostly figure surrounded by models in motion, each frame charged with emotional resonance. Directed by Julia and Vincent and styled by Benoît Béthume, the campaign transforms garments into characters—silk pyjamas, sharply tailored jackets, and cinched-waist suiting mingle with signature moon motifs, upcycled materials, and rich textures. Drawing inspiration from 1950s and 1980s femmes fatales, Irma Vep, and David Lynch’s haunting visual lexicon, Serre presents a wardrobe that is nostalgic yet subversive, refined yet rebellious.
