On a chilly but tranquil evening in Los Angeles, California, we hosted our first annual "Young, Gifted, & Black In Beauty" dinner.
Black representation in beauty is not an option, it is vital. In honor of Black History Month, we celebrated an impactful group of Black Gen Z beauty creators through an intimate evening filled with conversation, laughter, and joy. Black Radiance Beauty graciously sponsored the event.
The dinner took place at Margot in Culver City, and the menu was undeniably delicious, featuring truffle arancini, potatoes bravas, little gem caesar salad, bombolotti pasta, salmon, and a chef's selection of dessert.
The creators in attendance were Sicard, Serena, Tyla, Jace, Ashley, Mariah, Heaven, Jaida, Cydney, Alexa, and Marley. Let's just say the group couldn't have been more engaged, sociable, and downright fabulous.
Our host, Alexa Walls, moderated a productive and inspiring discussion on the state of Black beauty, prompting the creators to speak about the importance of representation, their go-to Black beauty products, and more. The Black Radiance team gifted some of their best-selling products to each attendee.
