This Week's Best Streetwear Drops: From Kenzo to Cherry Los Angeles

Our favorite new drops from this week.

KENZO SS23 “Varsity Jungle”

NIGO has been taking over the fashion industry with his latest collaborative and non-collaborative collections. His most recent KENZO capsule collection, “Varsity Jungle,” brings back NIGO’s exploration of collegiate Americana and Kenzo Takada’s love for nature. The collection is complete with a nod to Takada’s favorite animals: the elephant and tiger, displayed across the knitwear essentials and t-shirts. Taking on the varsity role, checkered socks and K-branded cardigans are also featured and can be purchased from KENZO stores and online.

BAPE SS23 Collection

A BATHING APE honors the city of Tokyo with its 2023 Spring/Summer collection celebrating its 30th anniversary. BAPE’s previous lookbook brings nostalgia around childhood and adolescence with the narratives “Young Rich Boy” and “Retro Film Shooting.” BAPE includes everyone in this collection and has items for men, women, and kids. Its pieces are accompanied by different dynamic patterns, BAPE’s iconic camo print, and the MILO/BABY MILO. The entire collection can be shopped at BAPE.COM and BAPE STORE®.

WIND AND SEA SS23

With a collection that takes inspiration from early 2000s hip-hop culture, WIND AND SEA managed to completely makeover basic traditional styles in a contemporary way. To no surprise, there cannot be a Y2K collection without baggy and oversized clothing. The brand accomplishes this with trousers, relaxed-fit-t-shirts, denim sets, knee-length shorts, and much more. Subtle but meaningful designs are added to the clothing, like an embroidered heart that sends a nod to the water constellation. See what else the Japanese streetwear brand has in store online.

Cherry Los Angeles SS23 Installment 1

Cherry Los Angeles is a streetwear brand known for its bold graphics, vibrant colors, and oversized silhouettes. Their collections often feature a mix of vintage-inspired designs and modern streetwear aesthetics, with a focus on comfort and functionality. The brand dropped the first installment of their Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which features bombers, co-ords, sweatsuits, denim, and more. Check out the full collection on the Cherry webstore.

Check back next week for more good drops.
