Heaven Mayhem Watch Collection
Los Angeles-based jewelry and accessory brand Heaven Mayhem has launched its first timepiece: the Icon Watch. Drawing inspiration from legendary it-girls like Carla Bruni, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, and Grace Kelly, the collection features a classic timepiece with Quartz movement, genuine leather straps, and a stainless steel gold-plated watch dial. The back of the watch showcases Heaven’s signature handwritten engraving. The collection offers four interchangeable straps: brown pebbled leather "Bruni," Burgundy Red alligator-style leather "Monroe," Emerald Green alligator-style leather "Diana," and black alligator-style leather "Kelly." Mahila Launch
Sisters Jasmine and Isabella Gaziza Muller have launched Mahila, a London-based label dedicated to representing contemporary South Asian women in Western fashion. Meaning "a collective of women" in several Indian dialects, Mahila aims to empower its community by creating garments that make women feel confident, agile, and sexy. The brand addresses stigmas surrounding the female body in South Asian cultures, emphasizing comfort and contour in its designs, which are all produced in East London. Inspired by '90s and 2000s Bollywood and modern Arab and Desi culture, Mahila's debut collection features versatile lounge and activewear, including thongs, boxers, waistcoats, and baby tees. Dior Men's FW24 Campaign
Dior's Men's Fall/Winter 2024 campaign brings its ballet-inspired collection to the studio, under the direction of creative director Kim Jones. Inspired by male ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, the collection pays homage to Jones' personal connection through his uncle, Colin Jones, a dancer and photographer who worked with Nureyev. Shot by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign captures models in a ballet studio, highlighting the collection's wearability by blending casual and formal looks. The pieces, such as a zipped wool jumpsuit and ribbed knits, draw direct inspiration from rehearsal wear, while a men’s ballet sneaker reinterprets the classic ballet slipper. Dior’s signature Saddle handbags also feature prominently, showcasing a utilitarian makeover alongside larger, stylish storage bags.
Diesel FW24 Campaign
Diesel's Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, “Till Death Do Us Part,” features Christine Quinn of Selling Sunset fame in a unique wedding-themed showcase. The campaign portrays Quinn getting married in true Diesel fashion, accompanied by friends in stylish attire, highlighting an unconventional bridal material—denim. The campaign begins with models preparing for the ceremony, showcasing the new Glossy Play bag and trompe l’oeil denim underwear collection. Quinn dons a stone-washed, blue denim gown with rosette trim for the ceremony, paired with Diesel sunglasses for an edgy touch. The celebration features the models in their finest denim looks, with Quinn switching to a denim mini dress and silver mini purse.
Prada FW24 Campaign
Prada’s Fall/Winter 2024 campaign focuses on “honest human interaction” and “the exchange of ideas.” Featuring a diverse ensemble of acclaimed actors and ambassadors like Damson Idris, Harris Dickinson, Yili Ma, Letitia Wright, and Hunter Schafer, the campaign highlights these individuals engaged in meaningful conversations while showcasing pieces from the FW24 collection. Captured by photographer Willy Vanderperre, the campaign delves into the art of interaction, portraying candid moments and intimate discussions that celebrate fashion as a form of exchange. Drawing inspiration from various film genres, including narrative cinema and documentary styles, the campaign presents its cast interacting both face-to-face and via phone. With a script by Miranda July and direction by Oscar-nominated Garret Bradley, the campaign features both still images and short films that underscore the importance of dialogue and language.
