Khy by Kylie Jenner
In a sultry photo in nothing but a leather trench and red heels, Kylie Jenner introduced Khy to the world on Instagram. In collaboration with Emma and Jens Gredes, the co-founders of Skims, and her mother, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner will be launching a clothing line that aims to continue her “King Kylie” legacy. Kylie describes Khy as representing her at her core, embracing the King Kylie aesthetic and making fashion fun. She also plans on keeping the collection entirely priced under $200 and using only faux-leather in order to keep her line accessible. The collection will be launching to the public on November 1st, but you can currently head to their website to sign up for early exclusive access, or to their Instagram to see the new collection so far.
Ski-Wear by Balenciaga
Following in the footsteps of other fashion houses who have recently launched Ski-Wear collections, Balenciaga will be adding their own unique twist to the slopes this winter. In their first-ever Ski-Wear collection, Balenciaga’s unique brand identity shows through with ski pants that appear to be baggy jeans and ski coats that look like sweatshirts. The collection will also include more traditional-looking looking ski-wear, as well as matching gear. Outwear is protected with a water-repellent finish and thermal lining. Prices will range from $195 to $6,290, and will be launched on November 15th, but it is available for pre-order now.
Moncler X Palm Angels
Former Moncler’s artistic director, Francesco Ragazzi returns to his roots as his own label, Palm Angels, releases their collaboration with Moncler. Based in Milan, Italy, but inspired by ‘90s West Coast nostalgia Palm Angels adds their unique twist to the outwear of Moncler. The collaboration features cable knit puffers, blends of pastels, and of course, a lot of logoed T-shirts and sweatshirts. Prices range from $250 for a pair of wool socks to $3,710 for a leather down jacket. Almost the entire collection remains genderless, creating timeless and wearable garments. You can see more of the collection here.
Maggie Smith for Loewe
Maggie Smith, AKA Professor McGonagall, stars in the new Loewe campaign at age 88. Photographed by Juergen Teller and directed by Jonathan Andersen, she poses in a fur coat with a Loewe Puzzle Bag. This campaign has received largely positive feedback as it’s one of the first to include an older woman as the face of a fashion campaign. Smith wears minimal makeup, allowing her wrinkles to be shown instead of covered. This push towards age inclusivity in fashion feels extremely genuine and will continue the increased appreciation for Loewe and JW Andersen.
