Billionaire Boys Club x Li-Ning
In honor of the Year of the Dragon and the festivities of the Lunar New Year fast approaching, Pharrell Williams’ label Billionaire Boys Club has come together with Li-Ning, a popular Chinese sporting goods company, to release a capsule collection. BBC’s most recognizable astronaut logo has been combined with dragon graphics across a range of clothing, such as varsity jackets, hoodies, utility jackets, sweatpants, and more. The color palette of the collection sticks to the traditional festive shades of red found in Lunar New Year celebrations, as well as gold, black, and even a hint of blue. A plaid jacket stands out when it comes to patterns, and patchwork-printed socks are an ideal accessory. Check out the collection on the Li-Ning website.
Crenshaw Skate Club 7th Anniversary
Crenshaw Skate Club has entered 2024 with a special unveiling of its 7th-anniversary capsule. Diving deeper into the importance of skate culture as it relates to the identity of the brand, the capsule features a singular t-shirt in commemoration of the brand’s 7-year milestone and its love for skating. The T-shirt is black, with a simple CSC logo on the front in an ombre red, yellow and green. The back of the shirt features a larger printed block of text stating, “Crenshaw Skate Clubb 7th Anniversary” and “Skating to Empower Since 2017 Live from the 90008.” The black text is set in the same ombre of red, yellow, and green. Check out the capsule on the Crenshaw Skate Club website.
BlackEyePatch SS24
Throwing in their take on the Lunar New Year is BlackEyePatch, with a Spring/Summer 2024 capsule collection inspired by the figment of the celebration, the dragon. While the essentials are covered, such as crewnecks, t-shirts and hoodies, the collection also boasts unique outerwear options, such as fleece pullovers and quilted jackets. Old English-style text and block text highlight the BlackEyePatch logo across a few of the garments, and it wouldn’t be a Year of the Dragon-inspired collection without dragon motifs splashed across crewnecks and jackets. “Property of BlackEyePatch” can be found across more pieces, and jewelry pieces are standout accessories. Check out the collection on the BlackEyePatch website.
PAL Sporting Goods SS24
Sporting events are the muse of PAL Sporting Goods’ new Spring/Summer 2024 collection. While different sporting events and sports themes have driven the inspiration behind each of PAL Sporting Goods’ collections, this new collection is specifically inspired by Targa Florio, one of the oldest sports car racing events ever held. It’s only fitting the collection features a selection of racing jackets accompanied by varsity jackets, both covered in patches and respective racing-themed embroidery. Long-sleeved oversized shirts in bright orange bring a pop of color to the collection, and crewnecks featuring “PAL’s Sports Car Championship, Sicilia” are unique and fresh. Elsewhere, loungewear, bodysuits, cargo pants, and jumpsuits all stick to the racing theme with ease and appeal. Check out the collection on the PAL Sporting Goods website.
