This Week's Best Streetwear Drops: From Universal Works to YMC

Check out our favorite streetwear drops of the week.

Universal Works x Kay-Groove “Festival Kit”

A festival-ready collection comes from the duo Universal Works x Kay-Groove with pieces designed to withstand the unpredictable summer season. In two colorways, “Dark Blue” and “Sand,” the collection opens with lightweight, waterproof jackets made from K-Way’s recycled house fabric. The rest of the line features two accessories: a bucket hat and a bag. Shop the new collection on the Universal Works website.

The Hundreds x The Perez Bros.

The Los Angeles-based streetwear brand The Hundreds collaborates with The Perez Bros. to create an artistic collection. With only seven pieces, designs include artwork titled: “Jungle Boogie,” “Boulevard Nights,” and “No Querma,” created by the sibling duo. The paintings are featured on pullovers, button-up bowling shirts, baggy pants, and more, paying homage to their cultural heritage. The collection dropped on May 18 and is available to shop in-store and online.

YMC Pre-Fall 2023

A nod to the 70s comes from London-based fashion brand YMC for Pre-Fall 2023. The brand embodies the era’s art, music, and culture through bold colors, patterns, and shapes. The color palette includes black, ecru, red, brown, and more which is seen in pieces such as the Bowie shirt, PJ Overshirt, Bluebird Dress, and Rat Pack Cardigan. The collection’s available to shop on YMC’s online store.
