Mark Hoppus, Singer and Bassist of Blink-182, is Undergoing Chemotherapy


Mark Hoppus, singer and bassist of Blink-182, has announced that he has been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer for the past three months. Hoppus posted on Twitter and his Instagram story on Wednesday that he has been diagnosed with cancer. "It sucks and I'm scared," the post says.



The post on his Instagram story is followed by another post of Hoppus at a doctor's office. The picture said "Yes hello. One cancer treatment, please" and showed him sitting with an IV. Hoppus wrote that he is "trying to remain hopeful and positive."


After Hoppus posted the news, several fans and stars have shared their wishes and support for a speedy recovery.
